Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data we collect on rbplace.com, why, with whom we share it and what your rights are. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people located in the European Union, by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

When you contact us through the website form, by e-mail or by phone: your name, e-mail address, telephone number, country of residence, language, your message and the criteria of your project (budget, type of property, region, timing).

If you go further with us towards a purchase: the information and documents needed for the steps you entrust to us (NIE application, bank account opening, reservation with the developer), including a copy of your identity document and your full contact details. We collect this data only with your agreement and for the step concerned.

When you browse the site: technical and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies (IP address, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, time on site, traffic source, device and browser type, interactions with our ads). This data is collected by Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, only with the consent you give through the cookie banner.

Why we use it

To answer your request, send you a selection of properties, organise your viewings and support you through to the key handover: this processing is necessary for the pre-contractual and contractual steps you ask us to carry out (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To follow up the relationship, inform you of properties matching your search and improve our services: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time.

To measure the site’s audience and show relevant ads, including remarketing: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the “Manage cookies” link.

To comply with our legal obligations, in particular accounting record-keeping.

Who we share it with

Spanish property developers, only for the properties you wish to reserve or visit, and our partner adviser on site, to organise viewings. At your request, the notary, lawyer or bank involved in your purchase.

Our technical service providers, who process data on our behalf: Framer B.V. (Netherlands), website hosting and form handling; Google Ireland Ltd (Ireland), Google Analytics and Google Ads.

We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

Transfers outside Switzerland

Your data may be processed in the European Union (Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland), whose level of protection is recognised as adequate by Switzerland, and in the United States by Google, under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact requests that do not lead to a purchase: 24 months after our last exchange. Files of clients who bought with our support: 10 years from the end of the relationship, in line with the Swiss obligation to keep accounting records (art. 958f of the Code of Obligations). Audience measurement data: 14 months in Google Analytics 4. Cookies: for the periods stated below.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. The site uses three categories.

Necessary cookies, set by Framer for the site to work and to remember your consent choices; they do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics 4 (for example _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 13 months) to measure the site’s audience; set only with your consent.

Marketing cookies, set by Google Ads (for example _gcl_au, kept for 3 months, and cookies from the doubleclick.net domain) to measure our campaigns and show you relevant ads; set only with your consent.

You choose on your first visit through the banner and can change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page, or by deleting cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, request its portability and withdraw any consent given. Write to info@rbplace.com; we reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, the supervisory authority of your country.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to your data is limited to the people who need it to handle your request. We never ask for sensitive data through a form.

Minors

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version. In case of a significant change, we will inform you on the site.
