Why buy a property in Torre Pacheco?

Torre Pacheco is a municipality of around 40,000 people in the Campo de Cartagena, the plain between Murcia, Cartagena and the Mar Menor, known across Spain for its melons and market gardens. Its centre is a working Spanish town with everything a household needs, and its territory holds several of the region's golf and leisure resorts, Mar Menor Golf, La Torre at Roldán and, most recently, Santa Rosalía Lake and Life Resort. The Mar Menor, Europe's largest saltwater lagoon, is a quarter of an hour away with its calm, shallow beaches at Los Alcázares and San Javier, and the open Mediterranean at La Manga half an hour. Prices in the Costa Cálida stay below the Costa Blanca for comparable homes, the sunshine is among the highest in Spain, and Murcia-Corvera airport is twenty-five minutes away.
